Mahmud, a seasoned engineer and public administrator per excellence, his early education started at Central Primary School Minna, Government Science College kagara and Kaduna Polytechnic where he obtained his first degree in civil engineering alongside with postgraduate diploma in management studies. His professional career began with Shinco Nigeria Ltd where he served in different capacities to the level of project manager before moving into public service to his community in Niger State as a legislator. He was a member of the 8th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in which after his tenure in office in 2015, he was appointed as an executive director, JClements Engineer ltd till date.
